Results of the 2016 TAAG Election

The Election meeting of the Templeton Area Advisory Group (TAAG) was held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Templeton Community Services District office located at 206 5th Street, Templeton, CA. At 5:00 pm, Nominating Committee Chairperson Bill Pelfrey called the election meeting to order and declared the polls open. The League of Women Voters presided over the voting and counting of the ballots. The polls were closed at 8:00 pm. There were 112 ballots casted, 0 challenged and 112 tallied. The final count was announced 9:30 pm, as follows:

  • Christopher Davis ..... 47
  • Sarah Maggelet ..... 46
  • Jeff DeBrish ..... 43
  • Murray Powell ..... 38
  • Cecil Martinez ..... 19

Thus Alice Griselle, Larry Stone, Christopher Davis and Sarah Maggelet will be seated as voting members for a two (2) year term. Jeff DeBrish will be seated as the 1st alternate and Murray Powell will be seated as the 2nd alternate. Each alternate will serve for a one (1) year term.

2016 TAAG Board of Directors Election will be held Thursday March 3 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at the TCSD Board Room (corner of 5th and Crocker)

All registered voters living within the Templeton Unified School District boundary are eligible to vote. There are three incumbents (I) and four new (N) candidates running for six seats (four regular voting directors and two alternates). The top four vote getters will be seated as directors in a two-year term and the 5th and 6th seeded candidates will be seated as alternates.

Please review the TAAG Questionnaire submitted by each candidates and get out and vote on March 3.

2015 TAAG Election Results

On Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 5:00-8:00PM, TAAG held its annual election of directors.

There were 63 ballots casted, 4 challenged and 59 tallied. The final count was announced at 8:42 pm, as follows:
